Professor’s Comments Update 2/27/16

At this point, all of the shorts Emeritus highlighted for the Honor Roll are having a great day. Checkpoint Software is down over 3 points from its open. RCL is down over 2 point from its opening price 68.52. In other words, the combination of Honor Roll Stocks with the VTI worked again. Are you getting to like this?
But like most things in this world, if you start to get greedy, you mighty have to pay the price.
That’s why I’m reminding you to manage your money.
Remember, with the EXTREME volatility we’ve seen during the past two days, it has set up a VIX Buy Signal. So IF the market starts to rally, and the VIX closes above its lower Band, we could see a VIX Buy Signal generated
Yeah, I know you give this little chance of happening with everything that is going on in Europe.
But as long as the VIX remains above its upper Bollinger Band, there is a chance that a small rally could turn into a short covering bounce.
If you made some money today with the Honor Roll picks, make sure you place stops and exit the trades by the close. The market is EXTREMELY oversold now.
