Professor’s Comments September 9, 2013

About 10 days ago, I had an episode while walking where I experienced chest and arm pain. I told Marcia that it didn’t feel normal. I went to to my Doctor who referred me to a heart specialist. The following day I took a stress test which I failed miserably. They immediately scheduled me for a heart catheter test, where they spotted lots off trouble. The following morning, Friday, I had quadruple bypass surgery.
The Dr’s and nurses here at St. Vincent Hospital tell me that I’m setting records for recovery, and I should be out of here by Wednesday.
OK, he’s what you need to know.
We still have three VIX Buy signals on the Board.
The Dean’s List is starting to turn positive. QQQ and SSO are now on the List, but DXD is still present. So the List is still mixed.
The key is The Professor. On Friday, he only had 19 stocks highlighted. I just ran him about an hour ago and he had 41, so we’re getting close.
Just about all of the stocks I talked about last week are doing well. I’m not buying anything now, but that’s only because of my current health situation. I already have plenty of SLB, JCI, GILD, and lesser amounts of RCL and others.
The thing you want to look for now is stocks that are entering the trend mode where the 2period CCI is going over 100. If the market is going to start trending, you want to be in stocks the are trending.
SLB is a good example. Take a look at the CCI. Now IF you own that horse, just ride it.
These are the leaders. Continue to look for these type of stocks on the MWL.
During the next few days, I will be doing two things. Getting better and watching the markets. Trust me, it’s therapy for me.
But please don’t expect the usual early morning updates. I’ll still post the Lists every night, but the morning comments might not be posted until later.
Getting better.
That’s what I’m doing,
