Professor’s Comments December 3, 2019

Marcia and I just landed in Amsterdam on our way to Strasbourg, France for the Christmas markets. While waiting for our next flight, I was able to take a download and update the Lists and the Market Timing Signals.
There were NO CHANGES to the timing signals for equities after Tuesday’s 268 point decline in the Dow. However there were changes to the timing signals for the Dollar and Bonds as both turned negative.
When I get to the hotel in Strasbourg, I’ll have more time to look at the charts and get a better feel for how Tuesday’s decline impacted the overall patterns. But right now, especially after seeing how the markets followed the chart I posted previously, I have to assume that final Wave 5 up of Major Wave ‘D’ up is complete and the market is ready, probably after some backing and filling, to start its next major leg down.
All I’m doing now is looking for entry points. BTW, I’d feel a lot better about the potential decline if I saw the Dow begin to trade below 27,700.
