The BLS will release its latest employment report at 8:30 am today. Economists estimate that 164,000 new jobs were added in December. This would be about 100,000 fewer jobs than in the prior month, when General Motors employees returned to work after a six-week long strike boosted the number. Any surprise in the number could produce a Big Move in the markets as there was a small change in the A-D oscillator yesterday.
